Brief description:

We are looking for 3x Social Workers for 3 months fixed-term contract and full time to cover while we recruit to full time vacancies within the West Bromwich area of Sandwell.

We require agency social workers who are experienced with working with customers in the community, has good social/social work skills, and attributes to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people in Sandwell.

You will need to be motivated and flexible with high professional standards and knowledge and experience of practicing with the current social care legislation including the Care Act 2014, Continuing Health Care, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Community DOLS/LPS.

You will be expected to work with vulnerable adults with mental health issues, learning disability, physical disability, complex needs, older people and their carer's.

You will need to be confident carrying out outcome focused assessments, with support planning, to meet their care and support needs.

You must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals and with our partner agencies to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

You will be given an induction, access to appropriate training opportunities and regular supervision with experienced managers. You will be working in a friendly environment, within a skilled, diverse and supportive team.

An Enhanced DBS with Adults Barring List Check is required for this role.

Payments are then released 14 days from the date of the invoice.
