The core objective of this tender is to contract for Data Centre Management:

The core of data centre infrastructure – servers, storage and data centre software requirements are to be provided by a Cloud Service that will be contracted as agreed by CBC IT Management and the Data Centre Management team.
The role of the Data Centre Management Team will be to:
oArchitect and agree use of the (to be contracted) Cloud based Infrastructure as a Service so as to create a fully functional data centre for CBC use.
oTransition CBC services from their existing co-location sites to the new services.
oOn-going operational management of the hosted applications services including optimisation of resource capacity, elasticity in resource allocation to meet demand, fault rectification, utilisation reporting, security and governance.
oThe contracted Data Centre Management Team should work along side CBC management and end users in the same capacity as that of an in house service team.
