description
The accrediting body will accredit all HMCG training programmes and level them against the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) or Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) allowing all Coastguard staff to gain either an externally recognised qualification and/or credits counting towards an externally recognised qualification, upon successful completion of each training programme.
The MCA requires approximately 416 jobholders to undergo this accreditation in total.
The full accreditation program must be completely established and implemented by 1st August 2015.
