Tender for the Provision of Structural Repairs

The work comprises of structural repair works to Council owned properties within Sandwell.

The properties consist of all municipal housing, varying in age from five to one hundred and fifty years, of both traditional and systems built construction and are approximately 29,000 in number within the Contract Area. Structural repair works will be identified through structural investigation reports undertaken by Sandwell MBC Structural Engineers and will be instructed on an ad hoc basis. Two contractors will be engaged to undertake the works. One primarily working within North Sandwell (Tipton, Wednesbury and West Bromwich) and one primarily working within South Sandwell (Smethwick, Oldbury and Rowley Regis) although both Contractors may be required to work in both areas if Sandwell MBC so requires.
