West Midlands Fire Services are conducting Early Engagement through this notice as a request for information to ascertain if there are any suppliers who can offer:

Body Worn Videos/Cameras to be worn at operational incidents and training exercises to enhance the Service's Incident Commanders in their decision making and Fire Investigation & Prevention (FIP) officers in gathering evidence at the scene of a crime.

Body Worn Videos must have or be capable of the following minimum specification:

A universal fire helmet mount
Captures Audio
Wide Angle, minimum of 150 Degree
Anti-Scratch Lens
Infrared Night Vision
Wi Fi for live streaming to any smartphone
LIVE Video Broadcasting and GPS to Server or the Cloud
Drop Tested from minimum 6ft +
All components to be replaceable if damaged or broken
Date Time Stamp of recorded footage
Heat resistant glass lens
Camera to withstand temperatures up to 400c
Water Proof cap for audio used for underwater incidents up to 33ft.
Water resistant cap for audio, used for firefighting
SD Card reader
Warranty
24/7 Support on software
Dedicated Web portal

West Midlands Fire Service may request samples to evaluate the capability of any systems which meet the above requirements.
