GB-Burton upon Trent: 2014-11-Festive Lighting

East Staffordshire Borough Council provides on an annual basis a programme of Christmas Lighting Displays in Burton upon Trent Town Centre. The focus of the illumination scheme is the annual ‘switch-on’ event. The Contract is for the installation, maintenance and supply of innovative and attractive Christmas Lighting Displays across Burton upon Trent Town Centre. Lighting displays need to change sufficiently to appear fresh each year. The Contractor will be required to install the Council’s existing lighting displays, which are detailed in Appendix A. Proposals for the annual displays will be subject to final approval from the Council each year. The locations across Burton upon Trent Town Centre include High Street, New Street, Station Street and the Market Place. This Contract will include the dismantling and storage of the displays. Applications to tender are invited from Contractors for the installation, maintenance and supply of Christmas Lighting Displays for the period of 2015 to 2017 with the possible extension for a further 1 year plus 1 year plus 1 year (2020).

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
