This framework is for a range of security services required by the council to meet its requirement for securitypersonnel and repairs and maintenance contractors for its security systems. Call-offs from this framework will beon ad-hoc basis as the requirements arise. The framework is divided into the following lots:
Lot 1 ? Manned Guarding, Key holding and Mobile Patrol 1 000 000 GBP pa.
Lot 2 ? Event Security 185 000 GBP pa.
Lot 3 ? Live-in Guardian Nil.
Lot 4 ? Installation and Maintenance of Building Security Systems 200 000 GBP pa.
Lot 5 ? Locksmith Services 25 000 GBP pa.
Lot 6- Building Hoarding 35 000 GBP pa.
Tenderers must bid for all services within individual lot or any multiple lots being tendered in order for their bid tobe considered.

Description:

Tender may be submitted for one or more lots. Tenderers must bid for all services within individual lot or any multiple lots being tendered in order for their bid to be considered.
The Council envisage inviting to tender the five (5) highest scoring bidders for each lot. After evaluating the invitation to tender submissions, the Council envisage appointing the three (3) highest scoring bidders for each lot where sufficient bids which meet the contract requirements are received.
Call off from the framework will be on ad-hoc basis as the requirement arises. The successful bidders will be ranked in result order from the tender for each lot. For each work package the Council will approach the number one ranked supplier. If they are unavailable to perform the work then the second ranked supplier will be approached and so on.
Occasionally, the Council may also use the eAuction process in conducting a mini-competition. Invitation to participate in the eAuction will be sent to all suppliers on the framework at least two working days prior to the auction.
The Council is committed to improving the quality of life for both residents and businesses within Tower Hamlets. In line with The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 the authority will consider how this procurement might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the relevant area. In order to achieve this, it is our objective to work with existing and future contractors to secure an appropriate level of community benefits through the procurement process. Detailed guidance and minimum levels of the economic and community benefit applicable to this tender will be available within the tender documentation.

Organisations wishing to express their interest are requested to register on the London Tenders Portal (www.londontenders.org) where the tender documentation will be available for download. You may be required to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).
Organisations must ensure that access to the system is available to their representatives dealing with the contract. The council will not be liable for the lack of delegated access within the organisation and will not send any documentation regarding the contract, which shall be exclusively available through the portal.
Tenderers are responsible for allowing sufficient time to submit their ITT/PQQ. The Council accepts no liability whatsoever for ITT/PQQs that are not submitted due to internet connectivity issues, transmission delays or errors.
