The full value of the contract including all optional items is estimated at 180000. The value of the main contract requirement (SWIR only) is estimated at 140000
The National Gallery will be seeking to procure hyper-spectral imaging equipment to continue to advance their interdisciplinary scientific and art historical research.
The equipment will be required to function as a static line scanner to work with the Gallery's computer-controlled micropositioning easel. The equipment will include 2 sensors to cover the spectral range (approximately 400-2 500 nm) with high light sensitivity (operating at no more than the low 1 000 s of lux) and spectral resolution (approximately 3 nm).
The full equipment requirement includes both a VNIR and a SWIR sensor, spectrometers, associated control and processing software, as well as an optical benches, cabling and peripherals.
