Public Health England (PHE) is an executive agency of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). PHE's National Infection Service (NIS) laboratories carry out a wide range of investigations and research. These are done through its Clinical laboratories, Food, Water & Environmental laboratories, Reference Microbiology laboratories and Products and Services arm. Tests performed cover a vast area of Public Health Microbiology and PHE is national and international leaders in this field.

PHE is running a multi-lot tender comprising of:

-Lot 1 - General and Chromogenic Media
-Lot 2 - Antibiotic Sensitivity Testing Discs
-Lot 3 - TB Media, reagents and consumables

This Opportunity Notice is for Lot 1: Provision of Microbiological Growth Media (powder, liquid and plates) including Chromogenic, which must be in compliance with laboratory standards/methods.
