description

The Authority operates in-house household waste collection services which include kerbside residual, garden and dry mixed recycling bin collections and the kerbside recycling box collection service. In addition, the Authority has a number of skip framework contracts which service our Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) which are due to end on the 31st March 2021.

The Authority sees this is an opportunity to review how recyclable materials collected via both our household collection service and network of Household Recycling Centres (HRC) are transported, stored and treated/processed. The Authority is keen to understand the market's appetite to tender for aspects of this work. The consultation document can be viewed at www.yortender.co.uk. If you are interested in responding to this consultation please submit your response via YORtender.
