Tribology Meter- A device to measure the tribological properties of surfaces and formulations.
Understanding the tribological properties of materials is key for the development of formulations which are designed to interact with or alter the properties of a surface. Tribology is extremely important in many industrial sectors from coatings and lubricants to healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Due to the wide range of applications, a flexible universal system for measuring the tribological properties is required to enhance the capability within the National Formulation Centre.
