UOE/2016/001 - UOE On-line Distance Learning Programmes and Services

The University anticipates it will be commencing a Competitive Dialogue procurement within the next two months in order to source a provider to jointly develop and deliver a suite of online distance learning programmes for international markets. In order to better understand the market, and to help to define the University’s requirements, the University is undertaking this Market Testing exercise before initiating any procurement process.

The chosen provider will bring exceptional expertise in delivering online managed programmes and support the University in its aim of generating a positive revenue stream by 2018. The University wishes to build on advances in technology, pedagogy and assessment in online learning to provide a range of exciting and engaging online courses for international markets. The courses are expected to be fully delivered online to a worldwide audience and consideration must be given to the design and operation of the course to ensure that all learners receive support throughout the course.

Please note the value's entered in the estimated cost fields of this PIN notice are false. The University is yet to finalise its budget for this project and will notify the market formally when publishing the Contract Notice to initiate the subsequent procurement process.
