description
The Authority is looking for suppliers for the Oak Processionary Moth Control Programme - Evaluation Design & Evaluation. The purpose of this project is to design an evaluation framework and to then, subject to the findings in the design phase, carry out a multi-method, inter-disciplinary evaluation of the Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) Control Programme. The evaluation should as far as possible determine the effectiveness of the Programme as a whole as well as how successful it has been in informing ongoing policy and operational design and decision-making to control OPM and other similar tree pests in the UK.
It is considered that this project should be led by an organisation with experience in evaluation of complex policy areas. There is no requirement for specialist knowledge relating to tree pests and diseases as this input can be provided by the evaluation working group.
This the first of two Evaluation Design and Evalution projects which the Authority will let in March.
