description
- The Authority is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced provider to demonstrate, install, monitor, and respond (in an appropriate manner) to any alerts from dispersed alarms in the community utilising call monitoring systems.
- The Authority requires continuous monitoring of these systems - i.e., 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
- This contract will be established for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period or periods totalling no more than 2 years, taking the contract term to a maximum of 5 years. It is the intention of the Authority that the contract will commence on 1st January 2024, or as otherwise agreed. Contracts will be drawn up and will be awarded to a single provider. For the purposes of this document 'Council' or 'Authority' is used to mean Forest of Dean District Council.
