A recommendation was made to run an exercise to practice HMRC's response to a major cyber incident. The Cyber Crisis Management Simulation project will seek to deliver this exercise in conjunction with the CSIR Business Continuity and Cyber Operations teams. The objectives of the exercise are to allow the creation of a Gold Team that will take strategic command and allow a proactive response to a major disruption affecting HMRC.
