Market Engagement Event - Integrated Children's Community Health Services for Medway

Medway Council and NHS Medway CCG are planning to re-commission some children's health services during 2017/18: we are proposing to undertake a single commissioning process and procurement exercise offering two distinct contractual lots of services. One contractual lot will be for universal public health services (Healthy Child Programme), and the other will be for more acute community children's health services including children's therapies.

Our aim is to build a modern system of children's community health services that retains families at the centre of interventions, that links well across health and care disciplines and the wider children's workforce and where practitioners are enabled to respond to individual needs.

A formal market engagement event will be held on 17th March 2017 from 1pm to 4pm at the Brook Theatre, Chatham ME4 4SE. This will be an opportunity for Medway Council and NHS Medway CCG to provide some further details in relation to this commissioning work, including areas for priority within the service specifications, themes for further discussion with providers during the commissioning process, initial consultation findings, and further detail relating to the commissioning timeline.
