Plymouth City Council ('The Council') would like to invite you to provide a tender for the following:
The Intensive School Engagement Service which has been on offer to Plymouth schools since September 2012 , and is a fun, innovative and engaging way of encouraging schools to cut down on car use and increase active and sustainable travel, using a project-based approach. The provider will work with schools to deliver events and activities that promote active travel and break down the barriers to cycling, scooting and walking.
The overall aim of the project is to increase the number of young people travelling to school actively and/or sustainably with a particular focus on areas that have seen infrastructure improvements and with a particular focus on the strategic growth areas.
The anticipated duration of the contract is 2 years.
