description

Replacement of the Revenues & Benefits servicer, storage and backup hardware to include basic build, configuration and testing work. Northgate application is used by Revenues & Benefits to back BHCC's benefit payments and collect Council Tax and Business Rates. It is a key income generating system and therefore business continuity is deemed high risk for income collection and payment to vulnerable citizens. BHCC have used Q Associates (Northgate's supplier of choice) for the support of this and other Unix servers, and with the server needing replacement, our historic partnership provides the assurance on continuity that we need. Direct award is considered best vfm for this purchase and related services.
