The area of highway/footway to be treated is approximately 562 km. The areas covered by this Contract include but are not limited to the following; kerb edges and channels, rear of footways and abutting brick, stone or other types of wall or fence, surfaced footways, traffic islands and splitter islands, paved roundabouts or paved sections of roundabouts, around the base of street furniture including safety fencing, pedestrian guard railing, tree bases on footways including raised cobbled areas, hard central reservations.
