Portsmouth City Council (the Council) is inviting Expressions of Interest for a PQQ process from which successful Suppliers will be invited to 2 separate Tender processes.
The two Projects are:

SCOPE OF WORKS - Extension and Landscaping - Northern Parade Phase 2
New building and landscape works at Northern Parade school, Portsmouth, PO2 9NE.
The estimated value of the works is in the region of £1,800,000.
The proposed works at Northern Parade School can be summarised as follows:
| 1. | Construction of two 70sqm extensions to match existing buildings to rear of Infant school. |
| 2. | Construction of a new 200sqm flexible music drama hall centrally to rear of Infant school with flat roof infill to existing building. |
| 3. | Internal refurbishment of Infant school in connection with the above works. |
| 4. | Two new external courtyards areas and associated landscaping around extensions. |
| 5. | Demolition of existing modular building. |
The existing School, Pre-School and Children's Centre will all remain in use during the period of the works and it is therefore a requirement that contractors are able to demonstrate that they have experience working within this type of environment. In particular the close proximity of works to the rear of the Infant school.
SCOPE OF WORKS - Craneswater Junior School - Extension and refurbishment
New building and landscape works at the Grade II listed Craneswater Junior School, St. Ronans Rd, Southsea PO4 0PX
The estimated value of the works is in the region of £1,425,000.
The proposed works at Craneswater Junior School can be summarised as follows:
| 1. | Demolition of existing reception /WC building connected to the Lower School building. Removal of the covered walkway between Lower and Upper School and demolition of a brick bund around redundant oil tank (removed as part of a separate project). |
| 2. | Construction of a 275sqm extension to the front of the existing Lower School building and a glazed link between the Lower and Upper School buildings. |
| 3. | Internal refurbishment of the lower school in connection with the above works and to the central circulation corridor (the Marching Corridor). |
| 4. | External works to the garden play space in front of the extension, works to the perimeter railings and associated landscaping around extension and in the location of the site compound. |
