The University of Southampton intends to appoint an external audit provider under the terms and conditions of Lot 5.4 of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) - ConsultancyONE Agreement, Ref: RM1502, to provide the following services:
- To support the activities of the University and its subsidiary undertakings with effect from the necessary audit work on the 2017/18 financial statements (year ending 31st July 2018).
- To provide certification of the University's research grant claims (primarily EU Framework programme grants).
- Supporting the University in complying with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR) in relation to the University's debt securities and any other further responsibilities as a result of the University becoming a Public Interest Entity.
