United Kingdom-Mansfield: Closed circuit television services

'Mansfield District Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the upgrade of their existing analogue CCTV system. The work will include the design, installation and commissioning of a new digital wireless network around all camera locations; the provision of new command and control systems with a new digital recording platform; the refurbishment and modernisation of the existing CCTV control room to accommodate the changes in technology, including the provision of a new digital display wall; the upgrade of existing analogue camera technology where budget exists. The Contractor must be able to demonstrate their track record with the current installed scheme to ensure faults are responded to while the transition to the new digital system takes place. The Contractor must also be able to demonstrate their proven track record in maintenance and upkeep of an IP network for CCTV cameras and their ability to service and repair them. The successful contractor shall provide service and maintenance for 3 years following completion of the upgrade. The upgrade works are expected to be completed within 5-6 months of the start of the contract. The total length of the contract is 3 years and 6 months.'
