description

ORE Catapult own and operate a 15MW Drive Train Test Facility, designed for testing the drive trains and individual components of offshore wind turbines. In this facility, a None-Torque Loading, (NTL), machine applies prescribed forces and moment into the client's test machine.

To improve the ability of the test rig to interface with customers' test pieces, ORE Catapult has commissioned an adaptor of an appropriate configuration to apply the forces and moment that the NTL machine can apply.

In order to mount the adaptor to the NTL, a series of M100 fasteners are required to be manufactured, NDT tested and delivered to the ORE Catapult in Blyth, Northumberland. This requirement is divided into four (4) separate Work Packages and Tenderers may submit for one, a combination of or all the Work Packages.
