GB-Norwich: Maintenance Services of Play Areas for South Norfolk Council

You are invited to tender for the provision of a maintenance contract to carry out all maintenance required on 58 play areas for South Norfolk Council, further described in the contract terms and conditions for South Norfolk Council ('the Council'). Over the past 10 years, SNC has been very pro-active inspecting and maintaining the areas, through the current inspection regime, this has resulted in managing budgets to create and keep open quality play areas that comply with current European standards for play areas, and Health & Safety regulations. The current inspections and maintenance regimes are recorded on a well-recognised industry software system PSS (Public Sector Software)

Currently, all 58 play areas are inspected monthly, known as an Operational Inspection with the outcomes being recorded on PSS by play inspectors. From these inspections and the Technical Advisors inspections, maintenance works are generated.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
