The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is testing the market place to see if there are any Optometrist Service Providers who can provide the Trust with the following:
1.A comprehensive tertiary care paediatric optometry service including contact lens management, low vision aid assessment and joint clinics with orthoptics.
2.A comprehensive care neuro-optometry and motility service including optical management of ocular motility conditions and joint clinics with orthoptics.
- Adult complex contact lens services for patients with corneal pathology
- Treatment of children with delayed development and visual issues in a Child Development Centre
