The Children and Young People Learning Disability and Autism (CYP-LDA) Team are seeking a supplier with experience across regional and local networks to ensure appropriate representation and engagement of parent and carer voice and co-production to support the work of the CYP-LDA and Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Team's objectives during 2024-6. The contract will run from 01 February 2025 until 31 March 2026 and may be extended to March 2027 subject to funding and satisfactory performance.

This work supports a number of CYP-LDA and SEND programme objectives including:

  • Improving physical and mental health outcomes for autistic children and young people, those with a learning disability or SEND.
  • Reduce health inequalities for autistic children and young people, those with a learning disability, or SEND.
  • Reducing reliance on mental health inpatient care for people with a learning disability, autism or both, of all ages.
  • Improving the quality of mental health inpatient services for people with a learning disability, autism or both, of all ages.
