The University of Salford is seeking tenders to supply a Markforged Metal X 3D printer with Sinter1 Oven and De-binding station.

The Metal X will be the first metal additive machine at the University of Salford and will form part of the Morson Maker Space's "Engine Room", in which the University will showcase the latest industrial equipment to be used by staff and students throughout the University.

The Morson Maker Space is a new department at the University of Salford tasked with integrating digital fabrication technology and 'maker' skills into curricula, attracting industrial partnerships and teaching future-fit skills for the benefit of all Salford graduates.
