Procurement for Housing is a consortium of social housing providers throughout the UK. Its members include local authorities, housing associations, ALMOS, and charities.

Procurement for Housing is establishing a vehicle purchase framework agreement for UK public bodies which includes, but is not limited to, all 900+ current members of Procurement for Housing and any future members. http://www.procurementforhousing.co.uk/who-we-are/members/ Any member organisations are located throughout the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The framework is for the outright purchase of

commercial vehicles , to include but not be limited to:

  • Cars;
  • Car derived vans;
  • Standard vans;
  • Mini buses;
  • Drop sides and tippers;
  • Medium commercial vehicles from 7.5t to 12.5t All vehicles will be of various fuel types.

The framework also covers for body building and/or conversion work that is required by the individual member.

The framework will be let for a period of 2-years (24 months) with two possible extensions of up to 1 year (12-months) each (2+1+1), dependent upon supplier performance and market conditions.
