description
IWM is seeking to switch from paper based to electronic records management and needs to overhaul its records management framework in preparation for the switch. We therefore wish to appoint an experienced records management consultant(s) or consortium to
| 1 | Conduct a fundamental review of records management practices across the organisation’s five sites, in London, Cambridgeshire and Manchester. We will be looking for an evaluation of our current policies and procedures, specifically with a view to improving the way we manage our electronic records which are held in a variety of systems but particularly on shared drives and in email. We would expect to make changes to our existing policy documentation based on advice and recommendations resulting from the evaluation phase. |
| 2 | Make recommendations for the development of a new strategic approach and provide a plan with options for implementation going forward. The project also needs to look at and make clear recommendations for how management of our electronic records can be improved using existing resources and produce a staged implementation plan with achievable targets. |
| This initial work will be the first stage in a potentially larger project and there may be an opportunity for extension of this consultancy into implementation and rollout phases. |
Additional information: Please follow the instructions in the ITT regarding any questions relating to the requirements and how and when to submit your tender
