description

The in-cell learning solution must be video centred and deliver advice, guidance and discreet embedded educational content which complements our main education and training provision.

We would like to be able to communicate directly and instantly with prisoners. We anticipate that the system can deliver key messages direct to prisoners through their television regarding education and other key purposeful activities.

We expect the supplier to include the full costs of any cabling / installation into the tender to provide the service to all wings, residential areas and provide full integration to every cell and where applicable central TV in association areas.

The preferred solution will have a range of educational content to suit all of our main curriculum areas and the supplier be able to produce and promote all educational activities by filming & producing bespoke short promotional films for play-out within the TV service.

We are not looking specifically for any other 'device' driven solution (laptops, tablets etc.) This in-cell learning solution must ideally integrate with in-cell televisions. However, if another system is available that can produce similar outcomes and broaden the communication and interaction with prisoners we would be interested to find out via this procurement process. The system must be educational and have methods of collecting viewing statistics and encouraging learning in cell.
