Technical Support for the Procurement of the Council’s Waste Treatment contract and waste collection / management & street cleaning / green estate (public realm) lots for the Environmental Services contract.

In 2002 Slough Borough Council signed a 15 year Environmental Services contract with Slough Accord. This contract included a back to back contract to provide waste disposal services to the Council and to fulfil and meet its statutory obligations as a Waste Disposal Authority. In September 2015 Slough Borough Council Cabinet agreed the procurement of a new ‘Waste Treatment Contract’ to meet the ambitious needs of the Council to deliver the Waste Strategy 2015–2030. The Council is intending to award a contract for waste treatment as part of the Environmental Services Contract that will also include lots for waste collection and management and Public Realm (street cleaning and green estate).

The Technical Support, Advice and Management is to support the successful procurement of the Environmental Services Contract which is to be in place by November 2017.
