The Workers' Educational Association is seeking Tenders for:
The provision of an External Audit function to undertake a number of specific audits each year.
Tenders are to be from suitably qualified and experienced registered auditors with significant charity auditing experience, for the function of external audit to include the following:-
| (i) | Auditing of annual accounts for the WEA as a whole and for WEA Scotland as a separate entity in the current Charity SORP format; |
| (ii) | VAT and tax advice and assistance, both within the UK and Scotland |
| (iii) | Attendance at Audit Committee and Trustees' meetings as required; |
| (iv) | To provide advice and support to the Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Finance and Business Planning on accounting issues from time to time. |
