Various Laboratory and Office Refurbishments

The National Institute of Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) a centre of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, also referred to as the 'Employer', is looking to obtain quotes to carry out refurbishment of various Laboratories and Offices located on the NIBSC site at South Mimms, Hertfordshire.

In addition to the refurbishment of the specified Laboratories and Offices, we require an on-going contract for similar works over the next 3 years. Attached to this tender is a 'basked of goods' spread sheet for suppliers to fill in. The information from the spread sheet will be used to evaluate this tender return.

The contractor is to provide a complete packaged job. This will include the supply and fitting of all furniture, equipment or plant, all electrics, BMS, temporary services, all redecoration as specified. It will also include all accommodation works necessary to carry out the project.

The agency is located at Blanche Lane, South Mimms, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 3QG.

To ensure the understanding of the requirement for the services specified, there will be an opportunity to visit the site Wednesday 28th January 2016 . Please confirm your attendance and the names of your attendees via the Bravo messaging system, unfortunately we can only accommodate 2 representatives per Contractor.

It is mandatory that a site visit is carried out as the successful Tenderer will be deemed to have satisfied himself as to the local conditions with regard to accessibility of the site, the full extent and nature of the works, the supply of and conditions affecting labour, toilets, carriage, unloading, tools, ladders, and anything which may influence his tender for carrying out the works.
