'CMAL requires provision of a leased networked digital CCTV service to be installed at 25 CMAL harbour locations located on the Clyde, West Coast and islands of Scotland, available 24/7, 365 days a year to enable data access by local port operations staff and remote access by other authorised users to monitor the safety and movement of people, vehicles and vessels while assisting in the general security of the CMAL Harbours. Provision of this service will not include a requirement to provide a monitoring service. The Contract will be in place for a period of 5 years with initial system design and installation at all harbour areas listed in Schedule 2(C), Appendix A followed by maintenance, repair and replacement as required. The system will have spare capacity to accommodate additional camera installations up to the number per location identified in Schedule 2(C), Appendix C, after conclusion of the initial 5 year period. CMAL wishes to have the option to pursue purchase of the system outright at the completion of the leasing period.
