Mitel Support and Maintenance

Wiltshire Council currently has the following Mitel estate: Wiltshire Council currently runs its telephony network fully on a Mitel VoIP estate. This estate supports both Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Police across approximately 40 large sites and many more small sites. The estate consists of Mitel 3300 controllers running on MCD version 6 or higher and 5300 series phones. There are approximately 8000 extensions currently configured and in use on the Mitel estate. There is Mitel enterprise Manager for management of the Mitel estate and Mitel NuPoint voicemail system also in place. There is also a Mitel border gateway server in place to allow for Mitel to be used at users? homes over the internet. Mitel ACD functionality is also used by a number of frontline services within the council. Wiltshire Council is currently in the process of transitioning away from the use of Mitel phones, therefore the number of controllers requiring support will reduce during the term of this contract.

The contract will require service of Mitel equipment in a variety of Council locations throughout Wiltshire.
