Homes England - NHS SBS Consult 18 - Lot 10 - Business and Enterprise Architecture

Homes England has recognised the role of Enterprise Architecture in strategic planning. The Digital and Transformation directorates are also aligned with this approach to managing organisation-wide continuous improvement.

We, as a team of Architects and Business Analysts have started to take a systematic approach to identifying and reviewing the business capability maturity and have shared artefacts with the key stakeholders.

Through this exercise we have identified gaps around skills, engagement, and the need for tools to scale this up at pace to be able to develop a well-formed strategic approach to change in perpetuity.

Our Architecture resource strategy is to build and mature enduring Business Architecture skills within Homes England, augmented with external expertise to be able to support the agile and continuous improvement approach that we need to take going forward.

At Homes England the office of the CDTO is aligned to this approach to create an Architecturally and Business aligned strategic plan and roadmap within 8 to 12 weeks.
