Reagents is part of the Red Cell Immunohaematology (RCI) function within the DTS Directorate of National Health Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT). Reagents is located in Liverpool and produces a range of Reagents including red cell products, plasma/serum products, chemicals and enzymes. The dispensing and capping machines are currently used to dispense Reagents into 10ml glass vials and 25ml plastic containers before applying screw caps. The dispensing machines are located within a grade B cleanroom within the Reagents department.
