Demolition of the former Collective Spirit Free School

The Demolition and site clearance work of the Former Collective Spirit Free School, Chadderton.

The Council are seeking to appoint a Demolition Contractor who will complete the demolition, clearance and associated site finishing works of the former Collective Spirit Free School.

The Council are looking to clear the site now that the building has been vacated. All ground foundations/hardstanding's within the site will be grubbed up and crushed and reused for fill or removed off site (with the exception of the existing playground hardstanding areas and adjacent soft landscaped areas which are to be retained).

The site is fully enclosed with a 2.4m High Palisade fence. The buildings to be demolished will be protected from unauthorised access by erecting a minimum 2m high galvanised fence, linked together and set in precast concrete blocks. Both the palisade perimeter fence and the galvanised fence immediately situated around the buildings to be demolished will be maintained in an effective condition throughout the period of the contract. Warning notices will be displayed on the fencing and the fencing's integrity and the presence of the warning notices will be confirmed daily by the Site Manager. Gates in the fencing will be locked when unattended.
