Support for Rural West Sussex Partnership

This tender outlines the requirements for a support service for the Rural West Sussex Partnership to run from June 2018 to June 2019.

A key objective of the RWSP is to drive the economic prosperity of the rural economy in West Sussex. This project will need to develop and manage a strategic action plan as agreed with RWSP members:

• oMaintain and develop background research relating to West Sussex's rural economy, employment and skills, and provide appropriate reports and guidance
• oAgree priorities for economic development and develop and regularly update consequent action plans to support and add value to stakeholders own economic strategies
• oEnsure timely communications with and between members and stakeholders to coordinate robust responses to Government, Local Authorities and Agencies to ensure economic development opportunities are implemented in rural areas
• oOrganize individual or partnership meetings with partners and stakeholders, as required for efficient information sharing and goal setting including one West Sussex Rural Forum and two WSRP Partnership meetings per year.
