Interim Policy Support for the Business Retail Market

This role is intended to provide Senior Associate/ Principal level support within the Business retail market team.

We expect you will form a key part of a small team, primarily focused on Ofwat's operational activities within the business retail market. You will play a key role in progressing modifications to the Market Codes (including modifications proposed by Ofwat). In the event of a Retailer exiting the market, you will also play a key role in allocating affected customers to a new supplier or suppliers.

You may also work on a range of other areas within the business retail team, including work that will give effect to decisions made recently on Covid-19, assessing options to protect customer credit balances, working with MOSL in the development of a Bilaterals solution as well as progressing work associated with our recent

Review of Incumbent Support for Effective Markets.

We will be responsible for providing you with instruction, day-to-day supervision and guidance from personnel with the requisite skill, availability and ability to do so. You will not hold a management position and will not be required to make any management decisions. We will provide you with copies of all rules, conditions and regulations with which you are expected to comply promptly on commencement with us. Deloitte will have no responsibility for supervising any work undertaken as part of this contract.
