Current status / Background

Through increased demand and to support Islington’s strategic policies, including the Air Quality Strategy, Islington’s Transport Strategy and Parking Policy Statement, we are seeking proposals to help promote uptake of low emission electric vehicles to improve local air quality.

Islington Council wishes to seek proposals and discuss opportunities on how the provision of electrical charging points could be increased throughout the borough.

The requirement

Suppliers expressing their interest will be able to download Islington’s scoping document to gain an understanding of broad requirements, which include a range of potential deliverables to maximise electrical charging locations within the borough.
