Ealing Single Person Homelessness Project Prior Information Notice

The London Borough of Ealing Council (the "Council") is seeking views from potential providers on how best to deliver a tailored single person homelessness prevention and relief service for single people at risk of homelessness, or homeless, who are not in priority need under homelessness legislation. We currently commission support in this area, the objective of which is to;Complete Assessments and Personal Housing Plans, as set out in the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.Prevention of the customer's homelessness, resulting in accommodation being available, with the potential to last for the following 6 months.Suitable accommodation being demonstrably sustained for an 8-month period.

The aim of this Soft Market Testing Exercise (the "SMTE") is to;Asses the availability, within the market, of the services the Council is seeking to secure.Understand the optimum way of buying these services, such that we encourage Providers, including charities, social enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's) and new entrants to the market, to bid.Explore suggestion given to ensure Value for Money and reduce costs for this service. Assist the Council to develop appropriate procurement documentation; and learn from the experience of providers within the market in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents at risk of homelessness in the London Borough of Ealing.

It is the intention of the SMTE and this questionnaire to gather a range of qualitative data and information. The information collected during the SMTE process will not be used for any other purpose.
