GB-Colchester: Rowan House Refurbishment

Colchester Borough Council (the Council) wishes to commission a suitably experienced contractor to undertake the refurbishment of Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road, Colchester, CO3 3WG.

The Works comprise the design, supply and installation of the refurbishment and remedial works to Rowan House to include, inter alia, the following outline scope of works;

1.Refurbishment of 2nd floor,

2. Works to the Mechanical installations, including new HVAC and Hot and cold-water installations and domestic installations, including
3. Works to the Electrical installations'

4.General refurbishment works as i.e.

• a.Window Alterations
• b.Meeting room and Kitchenette alterations
• c.Work to the car park
• d.Firestopping
• e.Soundproofing
• f.Car park works
• g.Painting
• h.Floor finishes
• i.External Repairs
• j.New & Replacement cabinetry and panelling

•Alterations to Ground Floor Reception Areas

•Alterations to existing drainage installations and toilet are refurbishment

•WC Refurbishment - It should be noted that the photographic survey (See Employers Requirements Section 4.3.4) refers only to the refurbishment of the Male Toilets. For the avoidance of doubt, the Toilet Refurbishment is to cover both the Male and Female Toilets on all three levels.
