Contract 59 - Lift Servicing, Repairs and Installations 2021-2024

North Tyneside Council have a portfolio of schools, residential and various public buildings in North Tyneside, comprising passenger lifts, platform lifts, stair lifts, chair lift, passenger hoist, goods only hoist and an escalator across the site. North Tyneside Council now seeks competitive tenders from lift contractors intending to award a framework contract with 3 suppliers appointed to the framework and structured as follows: - Lift Maintenance, Repairs and Servicing -

To appoint a single contractor to undertake all maintenance, repairs and servicing in respect of all the vertical transport installations

Refurbishments - Annual Value £200K

The successful contractor may be awarded at the discretion of the employer, refurbishment contracts up to a value of £50K (Per Lift or Building) over the set term period of the contract. If the value exceeds £50k (Per Lift or Building) the Authority will issue a mini competition via the NEPO Portal to all 3 suppliers on the framework.

Tenderers must be a current registered member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) to apply for this contract.
