'Health insurance services. The primary objective of this Invitation to Tender is to secure best value for a Service to enable Chelmsford City Council to offer a health cashplan Health and Well-being' scheme to eligible employees. Chelmsford City Council is therefore only inviting tenders from suitably accredited and experienced companies who can provide evidence of current sound business viability, are fully qualified by all regulatory bodies for the provision of such a product and can demonstrate current capability and extensive experience in satisfying the scheme needs in a local government environment of providing a Health and Wellbeing Cashplan to approximately 850 staff members and children under the age of 18 or who are still in full time education that are permanently residing with the member of staff. There is a scheme requirement for an option for staff to pay an additional monthly premium to upgrade their own cover or to upgrade to a policy to enable partners and children under the age of 18 or who are still in full time education to claim in their own right.
