Memorandum of Understanding with JNCC for data analysis within the Environment Analysis Unit

To provide SSO staff resources from JNCC to enable the EAU data team to:

1. Lead on the analysis for a subset of the “Big Questions” which are particularly concerned with the collation, analysis and interpretation of spatial data to produce “opportunity maps” or similar to aid planning of environmental spend.

2. Lead capacity-building on data use for integrated environmental planning and decision making.

3. Provide support to local Defra teams working on the Pioneers to enable them to access the best data and models to allow them to take an integrated approach to local environmental delivery.

4. Integrate the latest data and technological possibilities into the work on monitoring environmental change
