UK Sheep Genetic Improvement Scoping Study

This request is for the funding of a one year scoping study to build a business case in support of a possible Sheep Genetic Improvement Network. The work will identify targeted, balanced breeding goals for the sector to improve economic, environmental and social sustainability whilst improving market orientation. Modelling will establish key traits to focus on, and provide robust economic assessments of the impacts of potential breeding programmes.
