Radiation Protection and Dosimetry Service 2019/HMCD

The Trust requires a Radiation Protection and Dosimetry Service and advice to be provided from experienced Radiation Protection Advisers and include the service of suitably qualified Medical Physics experts for consultation, regarding compliance within provision of HSE approved dosimetry service, for individual monitoring and provision of qualified Radiation Protection Advisers for advice on non-ionising radiation.

The contract period will commence on 1st April 2019 for 1 year with the option to extend for 1 year.

The current specification is being reviewed and is expected to be available from Tuesday 19th February.

Mid Yorkshire Hospitals (The Authority) is seeking quotations for this service.

We need our chosen supplier to provide the Services from 1st April 2019.

The Authority is seeking quotations from a number of suppliers.

The following criteria will apply to the selection of the successful supplier:-

the supplier's offer that (a) meets all the requirements set out above (b) provides all information required as set out above (c) is the lowest price.

Your response must be valid for acceptance for 30 days from the deadline for receipt of quotations.

Your response constitutes an offer and if the Authority accepts that offer then a legally binding contract will exist between us.

The Authority does not make any commitment to purchase and shall have no liability for your costs in responding to this Request for a Quotation.

The NHS Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Services (Purchase Order version) (available on the Department of Health's website) will apply to any purchase.
