Electrical Small Works Framework

University of Bristol intends to appoint between 3 and 6 contractors to a multi-provider framework for planned/non-reactive Electrical Works with individual order values up to GBP 5000.

The scope includes a variety of minor electrical works and the installation of electrical systems in properties throughout the University of Bristol estate,generally comprising the following systems and services:

Alteration of existing circuits and systems including temporary supplies;

Removal of redundant equipment;

Labelling;

Commissioning, Inspection and Testing (of own work, i.e. NOT routine testing and inspections);

Provision of as-fitted drawings and operating and maintenance manuals;

Builders work in connection with electrical installations;

And the supply and installation of:

Low voltage switchgear and distribution equipment;

Earthing arrangements and protective conductors;

Final circuit wiring;

Cable containment systems;

Power and small power systems;

Internal and external lighting equipment;

Emergency lighting systems;

Standard telephone system wiring (final connection by others);

CAT6 and CAT5e network cabling systems;

Specialist systems and equipment.
