Waltham Forest Council (the Authority) is seeking to appoint a Consultant to undertake the preparation and design of the Lea bridge Roadbridge widening scheme, which comprises the widening of the bridge on both side of the carriageway to improve pedestrian and cycling. The scheme lies partly on land which is partly over Network Rail land, or over public highway or third party land which will require a CPO.The outline design will help form the negotiation of non-public highway land.
Consultants are invited to make a tender submission for a commission to provide a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the Project as described in this brief. The tender submission will be assessed on a 40% quality / 60% price basis.
